Since Din Tai Fung Yuyang restaurant, which was the first Din Tai Fung in Beijing, opened in 2014 it has become the favorite restaurant of foodies and celebrities from all walks of life. Located in Beijing - the international political and culture center and with a massive 1000 square metres of dining space - Din Tai Fung has made itself known to the whole world by spreading Chinese culture. Some of the more prominent example are dishes that are associated with important events on the Chinese calendar such as: the Eight Treasure Rice for Spring Festival, Zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival, Din Tai Fung’s signature handmade moon cakes for the Moon Festival, as well as their Almond Tofu, Shanghai Hairy Crab Roe and Meat and Pork dumplings that are exclusive to the the Beijing restaurant.
